The Boys & Girls Club of Oroville Teen Center is open to all Oroville teens who are in middle or high school. Fees are kept low, at just $10 per year, so that no teen is ever turned away due to inability to pay. Scholarships are available. Youth members come from all schools and from all walks of life.

 

Each year Boys & Girls Clubs around the world select a “Youth Of The Year” to recognize an extraordinary young person who has defied the odds of overcoming personal obstacles and who has worked hard academically, emotionally, socially and civically to display exemplary behavior and leadership.

 

The 2009 Oroville Youth Of The Year is Lionel Garcia, who was honored at the October 2009 Youth Of The Year & Donor Recognition Banquet.
